Training Objectives:
Participants will:
1. Understand peoples behavior by matching definitions and behaviors to different descriptors after a group activity.
2. Categorize resistance levels by matching example scenarios to categories of resistance following a group activity.
3. Determine appropriate defensive and offensive self-defense responses by distinguishing between different types of physical interventions.
4. Match self-defense responses to scenarios after a group activity, learning when specific responses are appropriate.
5. Identify standards for the appropriate use of force following a discussion and group activity.
6. Evaluate resistance levels and responses by identifying resistance levels, appropriate self-defense responses, and how to assess them.
7. Complete documentation according to self-defense guidelines after reviewing scenarios.
Training Itinerary:
• Introduction and Overview
• Overview of training objectives and goals.
• Group Activity: Understanding Behavior
• Match definitions and behaviors to different descriptors.
• Group Activity: Categorizing Resistance
• Match example scenarios to categories of resistance.
• Activity: Understanding Self-Defense Responses
• Determine defensive and offensive self-defense responses based on the scenario provided.
• Group Activity: Self-Defense Response Matching
• Match appropriate self-defense responses to example scenarios.
• Discussion & Group Activity: On Self-defense
• Group Activity: Evaluating Self-Defense Interventions
• Identify levels of resistance and appropriate self-defense responses, and evaluate them.
• Documentation Exercise:
• Complete documentation according to self-defense guidelines after reviewing scenarios.

Methodology:
1. Engagement: Active participation through matching exercises and scenario analysis.
2. Practical Application: Apply learned concepts to real-world situations through group activities.
3. Critical Thinking: Evaluate the appropriateness of defensive and offensive self-defense responses and document accordingly.
