In February, The Sassy Collection Creative Center had the honor of hosting a truly inspiring event—the Nalo New Recovery 12-Step Graduation Ceremony. It was a privilege to open our doors and witness more than 33 men celebrate an incredible milestone in their recovery journey.
As I watched each graduate walk across the room surrounded by encouragement, support, and applause, I was reminded of why I opened The Sassy Collection Creative Center. This space was created to be more than a place for creativity—it was built to bring people together, encourage healing, inspire hope, and strengthen our community.
Recovery is a journey filled with determination, perseverance, and courage. Seeing these men reach this important milestone was a powerful reminder that transformation is possible when people are given support, encouragement, and an opportunity to grow.
